Writing bios always makes me think of that line from `Buffy The Vampire Slayer` -- "Think of something cool, tell him I said it." So, lo! Here be interesting and fascinating things you really need to know about me:

1. Coffee is life. So is tea, and occasionally when I can get my mitts on them, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

2. I'm in the final year of working for my Masters' in Creative Writing. Actually as of the time of writing, final month.

3. I live on the beautiful coastline of Wales in the United Kingdom (and I'm fluent in Welsh -- also in LOLspeak *g*).

4. I can't do a thing without my mp3 player or radio clamped to my ears. And I take “Wow, your taste is so eclectic!” as THE biggest compliment anyone can give me.

5. I'm an Aquarius. This one explains a lot. Seriously.

6. I’m quite possibly one of the shyest people you’d ever meet. Or not meet, ‘cause I’d be the one hiding at the back of the room trying desperately to blend into the wallpaper.

7. Eric Cartman is my hero. Bless his foul-mouthed, Machiavellian, mercenary little heart.

Okay! Now that's out of the way, we'll get down to why you're really here -- the stories, and more importantly the boys that inhabit them. I've been writing and publishing for a few years now, and in that time I've had work published with Torquere Press, Phaze Publishing, and Liquid Silver Books.

Obviously, if you’ve poked around the site or come here from one of my publishers, you’ll know my main genre is M/M fiction, and while I could probably list several dozen reasons why (some worthy and important -- “I love exploring the different dynamics between equals, where it’s impossible to tell who really has the upper hand” and some more, er...basic -- “It’s HOT!”) but the simple and/or complex answer that encompasses it all is: those’re the characters and stories/situations that speak to me.

I've been writing romance and erotic romance for several years, but my love affair with books and storytelling goes back as far as I can remember. Most of my earliest memories involve writing, or creating worlds and characters. Characters are the backbone of any story for me. Make me care about a character and I'll follow them to the ends of the earth and back, through any genre, any setting. I hope I bring some of that to my own stories too, and I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy writing them! (Don’t listen to anyone who tells you I’m awful when I’m trying to hit a deadline and cuss out every last word in every single manuscript I write, nope, not at all, never.... :) )

If you want to know anything else, then hey....go ahead and ask! catkane@morethanfiction.com.  Who knows, I might just tell you! ;)
