“Afterthought by Cat Kane is an intriguing story of gifted men with mind controlling abilities. Vance is a sarcastic fun loving telepath who enjoys his telepathic abilities. He adapts effortlessly to whatever circumstances he’s in. Ayan has uncertainties about his abilities and even fears what he may be capable of; however his actions are motivated by his love for Vance. The storyline is fascinating and well paced, the developed characters have a wonderful interaction and the lovemaking is sensual. I found Afterthought to be an impressive and enjoyable saga.”

“I found Afterthought to be funny, sad, poignant, action packed, and a bit of smart-assish in places. Ayan is as vulnerable as Vance is strong - at least in most situations - quiet to Vance's in-your-face cocky, and coming into himself the more he is around Vance. Vance, meanwhile, is street-smart with an, at times, in so what? kind of attitude that is calmed by Ayan and, the more time the two men spend in each others company, the more Vance builds Ayan's confidence on its hidden foundation. It was interesting reading that I find quite recommendable.”

"Afterthought is an intriguing, sexy tale with unexpected twists and turns along the way. Clever, fascinating characters – heroes and villains alike make Afterthought more than your average fantasy tale. There is a somewhat dark, moody gothic flavor to this modern day story that stands out which I liked. Afterthought has an intense vibe revolving around a relationship, trust and fate. This isn’t ‘lite’ entertainment, but it is definitely entertaining."
